-Makarov- wrote If I get it I won't show any online gameplay or a video. I will just upload pictures. The reason for this is because the fake video of MW3 copy was taken down by Activision and it was fake in the first place.

The second thing which makes me believe it's bullshizz is this quote. You said Activision took down a fake video, well if this video was supposedly fake, Activision wouldn't have the legal authority to be able to take it down, due to it not copyrighting any of this content.
The guy that posted the video made a video after showing that it was fake and how he made it look like he really got it.

Good luck with that 8)

I myself managed to find a retailer that will send a copy of MW3 as soon as he gets it with overnight shipping for $110. He usually gets it anywhere from 3 days, to 2 weeks early. Can't wait

A game of that magnitude probably won't arrive @ retailer's until very close until the release date. Battlefield didn't arrive @ stores until this past weekend.

MW2 leaked early (I think it was still only about 2 weeks or so early) because someone actually STOLE them off the truck. The thieves then sold them on Craigslist where pirates got ahold of them and leaked them on the net. One of the more famous users who leaked the copy actually was arrested. I forget his name, but if you Google it, there are plenty of stories about it.

What YOU might be doing is completely legal, the manager of the store is actually breaking a contractual obligation to the publisher by selling a copy early. He could face a fine of upwards of $20,000 per copy sold prior to release date. I really don't see any intelligent person risking that type of penalty so his son's friend could possibly play a game a day or two before its released. By then...it'll probably be all over the net anyway.

If this person is shipping a copy to you...I doubt you would receive it by the time the actual game released. I would imagine the retailer probably won't receive the game until the Thurs-Sat prior to release. By the time USPS shipped it to your house...you could have swung by Wal-Mart and already had yourself a copy.

Sorry to burst your bubble...but I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than you do of getting MW3 significantly earlier than anyone else. As soon as a copy hits someone's hands who doesn't work for Activision/IW...it'll be on the net for anyone w/ a JTAG or flashed console to play.

*I used to be a manger at Circuit City 10 years ago (before they ran themselves into the ground), and have seen this type of stuff first hand. Stores don't get games as early as people think...especially games as big as MW3*

Wow. Thanks for the info. And it is looking like I'm not going to get it early. My friend said that he would still try. He's only gonna send it if it's a week or so early.
