From runescape:Jagex will only contact the player via the Message Centre system to inform him or her that he/she has been selected to become a Player Moderator.

A lot of mods make the M in the crown the M in their name. I'm not sure if Mod mark did it, because I was banned on a level 135 for phishing haha.

What I'm saying is, the only explanation i can come up with for the name is that mod Mark might be (crown w/ M) od Mark
