I believe skrillex is WAY overrated but deadmau5 is right where he is supposed to be
The reason i criticize skrillex is because, now EVERYONE listens to skrillex and dubstep, when skrillex is more of a drum step :/

tbh, I think that kind of music is just annoying noice. What's the point of making a song of just a beat? other than for the club or something.
they both are overrated.

Deadmau5 is one of my favourite artists. I believe that he is as good as people say he is.

I don't think either of them are over rated... I mean, it's not like they're both cleaning out the top 10 (or 100 for the matter) or anything like that... You'd be suprised. You can go up to someone and ask them "have you ever heard of skrillex or deadmau5?" and they probably won't know who they are....
So no, neither of them are over rated. But here on the Internet people like to talk about them a lot considering they're popular (for a not so popular genre of music) that is somewhat popular amongst the daily Internet user (such as ourselves).
Example: deadmau5 has 4 million people that like him on facebook.... There are over 528 million people in North America alone. So .7% of north America likes Deadmau5. That's a pretty small percentage if you ask me. (I know that this doesn't accurately give a % as to how many people actually like him, I'm just showing you an example because all of you are probably on the Internet for 5+ hours a day and are in a "bubble").

When people hear dubstep the first thing that comes to mind is Skrillex... Because hes become the face of dubstep in the USA, which is kind of sad because I feel there are way better artists out there, And deadmau5 is good but again, there is always someone better out there...
So to go as far as to say there "over-rated"... No I don't think there over-rated, Just becoming more "mainstream" which for them is great, but I think if it gets to mainstream they change and become like everything else and they lose there individuality!
