Can't sign in with modded gt

I am using a usb flash drive. I have already watched many videos and I can mod the file fine. Once I bring it back to the xbox I cannot get it to work with my online profile. I have tried logging in with the modded account then trying to play live, then i sign in with my legit live account and the name hasn't changed. I have tried many different ways of doing this. Any help will be appreciated and i will rep if i have any.

In my opinion tranfer cables are easier then usb. Try that

1) Sign in on non mod
2) Then mw2
3) Sign in to mod
4) A then A again
5) Xbox live
6) Sign in to un mod then done
1) Sign in on non mod

no way usb is waaaay easier i think! but try to rehash and resign your profile because that seems like it could be the problem. if not then just delete the modded profile and start all over again. use this video: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . +rep?

Try rehash and resign about 3 times then do it over if it doesnt work

Sorry i didn't reply i was trying to combine a modded single player account with my live one, got it now thanks for the help though
