Alright this has been my 3rd attempt to play minecraft (beta) and every time i play it LAGS Like crazy! is there anyway to fix it or is it suppose to lag because its the beta.

whats your pc specs?
that might be the problem. especially if its an old pc.
also, try running minecraft without any other program running at the same time

I recomend optifine

I have nice pc and now i run 100-200 fps

I would recommend getting Game Booster, that's what I use and it helps quite a bit.

You could always make the task "Javaw" high priority, but that makes the computer kinda unstable.

If you lag like a boss, get a better computer or use the game booster thingie, it might help, dont need it so I dont use it.

Just... do something, a new computer would probaly help, remember that if ur using a lappy dont keep it on ur legs as u might burn urself due to it's heat.

you probally dont have a good enough video card so go on the website and click on the link for watever system you have(pc,mac) and click on it and insted of saving it try just opening it
