I tried it the first time online and I got into the air and was turning to the battlefield, but I kept dropping slowly and I tried R2 to go back up and that wasnt working and then I tried L2, but nothing happened, so I dropped into the ocean on the jet.

trust me dude it take some getting used to!
i played battlefield 1942 to get used to planes months before! good luck!
