when i go to turn my firewall of it pops up saying 'windows firewall is not using the recommended settings to protect your computer'

Try to go to your Control Panel then click on firewall see if thats on. if that's not it if you have norton 360 or Norton or AVG Make sure the Firewalls are Disabled.

i have avg and ive diabled that firewall but i carnt disable windowns firewall
