You DVD drive is time to get rid of. I would order a new one or talk to SPEED, he does DVD drive related things.

I have a qustion.

Can you put any dvd drive into a jtag and play burnt disks? Because I wasent sure if you need to flash the dvd drive too.

You need a flashed drive to play backup and burned discs. However, on a JTAG you can install the game to the JTAG and not need the disc.

now the jtag will open the drive when i use the eject button but only when xell is booted

could be problem with the leads, have a play, take them out and blow out any dust that might be there, plug them back in and test. if not then you will need a new drive, but you cannot put any old drive in, you need to retrieve the key from your console and flash that to the replacement drive
