Yankees.
And no, I'm not a bandwagon, I like all NY teams.
I don't even like Baseball.

Ideas wrote I think he will stay with his team they just won why would you leave
2 reasons he MIGHT leave the 'Lou
1. He's already won 2 titles on teams that really aren't the greatest on paper. While he wasn't named MVP for either series (Eckstein and Freese), HE was the reason they made it as far as they have. Even if Albert doesn't get a hit...it changes the way teams have to pitch the red birds. How many of David Freese's playoff record RBIs came as a direct result of Albert being intentionally walked? He's been a clear stud on teams that are relatively shallow, and has taken those teams twice to win the Series. He might feel he has already accomplished all he can him STL and looking for a different opportunity.
2. No more Larusa. It was very apparent/public that Albert and Tony had a great relationship. With losing LaRusa to retirement, I think it hurts the chances of STL landing him.
I hope I'm wrong. Im from MO myself, and would HATE to see Albert suit up for anyone else than the fella's with the birds on the bat. What scares me the most...is that with the addition of Theo Epstein to the Cubs organization, he'd go over the top to try to land him. Losing Albert would be heartbreaking...losing Albert to the Cubs...can't even imagine/fathom the thought...I might have an aneurysm.
