my dvd drive on my jtag is detected as open when i turn it on but when it boots into xell i can open the drive with the eject button the laser turns on when i close it again as if it was going to read a disk i need help

does it still read games? if so then there shouldn't be a problem?

I think it will read games but i cant get to the dashbord because the jtag thinks the drive is open so it boots xell

have you done anything to the drive recently or did it just happen randomly?

just have a close look and make sure all leads are plugged in, if possible make a video, failing all that send to a pro to fix

now the drive stopped working it started to not want to close and it would just open after i pushed the eject button then it would not stay open then it stopped working
