On the livestream yesterday Robert Bowling said they have more tools to sort out the leaderboards and to stop cheaters/boosters.
Hopefully they do step it up as it does ruin it when you're playing legit and then people just cheat it's disheartening for those legit players who may then start boosting as there is no reason not to.

They will get reset

They will get console banned

They will get profile banned

They are screwed if they go online..so don't worry.

i hope they reset stats ect on the release but its a fkn awsome game

The servers arent even up yet as they havent even shipped the game out yet. Anyone who signs in playing mw3 will get parma banned in due time.

They aren't playing online. Even if they did IW would probably reset the leaderboards right before the game was released.

for 1 they can't play online so they aren't going to be a high rank.

Secondly when the servers do go online (nov 5th) there is already going to be foreign countries that have released the game playing it, so it's not like people pirating the game are going to ruin it.

And lastly there was a TON of people that got black ops early too and I never saw anyone that was a high rank when I first got the game, I saw youtube vids of people being 1st prestige on the 1st day but I never ran into anyone like that when I was actually playing so you shouldn't worry about that.

its only a rank if u have real skill on a game then it will take u no time 2 rank up and how can they level up if they cant go online

They'll probably be reset and I doubt the people that are playing online will be able to sign into their accounts after being in a game with a developer. Hehe.
