If you have a retail copy of MW3 but got it through bribery, can you play it online. Do they only ban you only if you have a copied disk? And if I were to get banned would it be an ip, console, or profile ban.

First of all there is no IP ban, i hate it when people say that.

Second why would they ban you for playing a legit copy of the game?

EDIT: Just don't play online, just play campaign.

They warned everyone to stay off multiplayer until release. One of the devs posted it in their twitter. Not sure which one but they did. I'm pretty sure you can still play campaign though. They issued out quite a bit of bans to all those who did play early. Some got permanent while others got 5 day bans. So be careful.

IP bans HAVE been confirmed. It's in the scripts.

IP bans HAVE been confirmed. It's in the scripts.
There console bans not IP bans, you can change your IP any time you want.

i dont think u will get banned because i have a guy on my friends list thats been playing all day yesterday and today also i hear there are already people lvl 50 and up
