First don't play the event playlist or any online matches on the day of the event.

Second start up a Private match of your choice TDM, Warzone, Koth, etc.

Third just keep playing private matches till you get Onyx medal and Achievement.

I don't if this works 100% but so far it has worked for me and some other friends of mine, just thought I should let you guys know bout this. Leave comment on whether or not it works for you.

didn't work for me, did you mean sign off by you can't play online or just only private matches

Its working for me. I got 9/10 events played by just playing private matches

Still works I believe it won't work for everyone, but if you can't get it to work try restarting your xbox, sign out and back in, other than that your gonna have to wait for the next event and try again

Sounds stupid but you need to have maps because I tried without maps and it didn't work so I bought them and now it works I'm on 26

whoever has the map pack early cause of the season pass, try this, it works im already at 24/30 for the onyx medal war supporter,
