FYI It won't be the cold war since, there was no fighting during the cold war...
The cold war was just a stand off between Russia and the U.S. and basically was a fight to see who would break first and launch a nuke at the other, but they have since resolved the war and it ended, there was not one death in the cold war.

If anything it will be the Vietnam war.

And to everybody who says Treyarch sucks, remember that they actually give support to there community, in fact I doubt will ever see Double exp. in MW2

Infinity Ward is just as good as Treyarch though, I just prefer Treyarch since the community support and instead of building a new engine like Infinity Ward does for each new Call of Duty game, they perfect it.

the only thing i want our of treyarch's next call of duty is NAZI ZOMBIES !

I think it is cool the way Infinity Ward and Treyarch work together to put out a game every year. It is also cool that the way they are doing it fits almost everyones needs. Some people can only play shooters based it the past and others really enjoy the modern action. I have know doubt it will be a fairly good game but I am iffy on if it will beat MW2.

In my opinion Activision should add one more developer to the mix, so instead of having one year each to put out a new game they each can take two years to produce a game and perfect it.

Yes they are working on this. They said in there Twitter update that they will not be making a Map Pack 4 of Nazi Zombies on Call of Duty World at War. They said they need to work on future projects.

The game is suposed to take place in Vietnam. If this is true then it will not be called COD 7. It will have a number in it's title. And that number is a 5. So we can't call CODwAw cod 5 anymore. We can...but it will be confusing. How do i know it will be called COD5? Simple. Every different war time has a number. Cod 2 or 3 was WW2 and Cod 4 was todays war. CODwAw was a remake of 2 or 3. So they did not get a number. And that is why Call of Duty Vietnam will be a Call of Duty 5.

This is a good idea for the public but I doubt it would ever go. Putting a game out once a year with three developers instead of two mean the same amount of money coming in with more people to have to pay. They would have to increase the price at which the game came out to 90$ or so.
