If I pre order from Amazon, will I have a high chance of getting the game a day before release/day release?

Way too late to order from Amazon. To my knowledge they are out of stock so you wont get it on release. Best option would be to go to a supermarket midnight release or go to one early Tuesday morning.

Chances are you will get it on release date, I pre-ordered all the CoDs since 3 at Amazon and they have all come on the day. I got unlucky this year and went with Game who I heard usually send games a day early, but they aren't with MW3
