I was just wondering, can you get banned or deranked when you boost in BF3?

yes u can but most people will find that out the hard way

Yes. They are coming out with a new update which will reset a lot of the hardcore boosters.

So like if you boost for about 30 minutes you will get banned?

There is always a chance of getting banned when boosting, no matter what game you are playing. It's a risk that you have to take. You may get banned and you may not.
