My frame rate keeps dropping for no reason. I'd say it drops to about 10 FPS, then goes back to normal. This has never happened before. Anyone know why?

Nah it wasnt lag, theres a difference between lag and FPS drop that you can clearly see. I was driving a Cavalcade down a street.

GTA IV isn't optimised very well on PC.
That could be your problem

GTA IV isn't optimised very well on PC.
