okay so i put my disk in and my xbox says reading but then say open trey and it keeps doing it over and over how do you fix that cause it cost to much to send off to Microsoft

either it is that the laser is too far back and you have to pull back up or you have to replace laser which is about 10-15$ ranging on the disc drive

theres a wee screw losing it then move the laser a tiny bit hen tighten it again

over heat it(reset) and if you still have the problem get a diffrent cd drive or i do lazer repair for $10

This means your laser is not reading it. You can hmu on aim and i can fix it for you.
