I haven't updated my 360 in a while, I downloaded Skyrim and it says I need a update to play the game. I am wondering if I update it will it over write the flash on the dvd drive so I can't play it?

I don't know much about that but I suppose no, anyways just try it and see what happens.

Well if you're playing skyrim that means you have LT+2.0 so you should be good..
But mine didn't ask me to update, but I also stay updated lol

if you update past the latest public release that will wave the ban me flag at mircosoft.
