If it has RROD, you should still read/write the nand no problem as long as its not 0001 or similar power problems. In most cases, it works just fine. I do it all the time.

Xex menu goes on an HDD and not nand or anywhere else. You have only two options:

1.Get it fixed then jtag it and happy days

2.Its not repairable and you can then swap the cpu and nand you read to a working board.

oh haha its an xenon they don't have much or any internal memory i think i was ament to put it in but i forgot

Well Yes You Will Be Able To JTAG It But You Wont Be Able To See If It Works, I Dont Think
