doea anybody know how to fix a HD/AV cable?

it was working perfectly 2 days ago and now it ins't working

i have it in 1080i no parts have come off no wires are loose it just say searching for signal.... no signal, its on compont & it has been working foe 2 years on a HD ready tv and it doesnt work on my tv down stairs which is one up version off my tv in my bedroom but it has worked on my tv downstairs because ive took it down many time,

help would be great
