you cannot reset the whole thing though. its just a black screen. which you cannot do anything with.

What do you mean? When I restore my Laptop to when I first got it, there are NO files on there(Except the needed ones) and my Hard drive is clean like I first got it.

He means he can not see anything because its a black screen

-Deanoo wrote Hmmm Have you downloaded anything that could have been harmfull to your computer?

Nope. not downloaded anythhing. but I was playing a high graphic game.. then it crashed. i then reset the computer, and the black screen error appeared, now i cannot do anything.

If you have a windows Xp/Vista/7 Disc try putting that into your computer and see if any thing happens with that.

I dont think i will be able to find that.. :L

yeah. its just black as if its on standyby, and nothing will happen.

We are talking about a computer, not a laptop yes?

Asuming we are, are you able to turn the PC off?

If you can when you turn it one it goes straight to black screen? No BIOS screen?

Are you using a graphics card or on board graphics?

Ok, you need to try another monitor first. Eliminate the most obvious cause. Use a monitor and cable you know to be working. Try your commuter with that, see if it works.

How comfortable are you with opening you PC. And the safety things you would need to do?

Well try a different monitor/cables if you have another one somewhere in your house

If not id advise you to take it to your local computer repair shop and let them diagnose the problem seeing as your not confident with opening your computer.
