-Deanoo wrote Well try a different monitor/cables if you have another one somewhere in your house

If not id advise you to take it to your local computer repair shop and let them diagnose the problem seeing as your not confident with opening your computer.

yeah. its just black as if its on standyby, and nothing will happen.

We are talking about a computer, not a laptop yes?

Asuming we are, are you able to turn the PC off?

If you can when you turn it one it goes straight to black screen? No BIOS screen?

Are you using a graphics card or on board graphics?

I can turn the computer off.
It IS computer, not a laptop.
The screen just looks, as if you never turned it on?
i dont know on what graphics i am using.

Ok, you need to try another monitor first. Eliminate the most obvious cause. Use a monitor and cable you know to be working. Try your commuter with that, see if it works.

How comfortable are you with opening you PC. And the safety things you would need to do?

I wouldnt be advised with opening a PC.
As im 14.
I wouldnt know on what am doing...

It is extremely simple to do, however you could damage the PC with static. All it would be is taking the side panel off, then checking for a external graphics card.

Make sure to disconnect the pc from the mains completely and press the power on the PC to remove and stored charge.

Will help, post when you have opened the case. If you chose to go ahead with this.

You need to test with another monitor and cables first. If its the graphics card then it would be pointless and would make no difference.

Ok, when you open the case you will need to look for a graphics card. If there is one then you would need to remove the card and try the PC. If it works then your graphics card was broke. And you can get a new one or use the on board one.

If there is no graphics card then the easiest thing would be to get a new PC or take it to a tech shop as there is a limited amount I can do over the internet.

It could look anything like this:
