Hi guys, just a question about my Falcon JTAG. I'm no 10 year old so don't hate
Basically, it retrieved the RROD a few month back so i took it apart to attempt a fix but accidentally snapped the JTAG wiring, didn't use it since.
Anyway, Today, I did the X-clamp fix using the washers, etc, and then I fixed a few of the problems I was having. Including, the fans now work without any problems, the DVD Drive now works correctly, the RF boards green centre light used to continually flash then shutdown the console within seconds but now is solid (right I guess ? :S).
Please hint, I now have a problem of it getting 1 RROD and boots to a black screen with the E79 error (before i did the rrod fix it didnt show on screen at all).
I was just wondering is this all right to now and is it ACTUALLY just down to me resoldering the connections ?
If so, do I HAVE to do the same wiring method as before ? Also, the XBOX is on FREEBOOT 12611 I am pretty sure.
I know this is alot to take in, but ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED and if your message leads to a Fix I will without doubt Gift you Gold on my behalf, thanks

Magazine wrote Hi guys, just a question about my Falcon JTAG. I'm no 10 year old so don't hateit's possible that you have wired something wrong with the wiring. Try the fan trick to reset it. I hop I helped. You should definately try re-flowing it though I'm 99% that will fix it. Thanks!

You got it dude. Without the jtag wiring, it'll boot up to e79. The wires and diodes have to go to the exact same points there were to work though.
