Hello , my friend and I are at the same house using the same connection on xbox live. We can connect to everyones games, our own games, but when we try to start a match in mw3 , it never finds a match, just keeps trying to join other matches but never will. But then when one of us leaves , it finds a match almost immediately . If any one could help Us with this a solution, please help me (:

Well then you join a game first then when your game is join session have your friend join your open game. Even if it playing together or against each other you're still playing in the same game as your friend.
