Look at step 3 I think it is... you open the camo, select all, Edit > Define Pattern.. Then save it and it goes into pattern list

how do you add a gun to an already existing avatar thats what i need to find out and if thats even possible lol

You select the gun with the marquee tool i think and ctrl C ctrl V onto avatar project and change scale with Ctrl T
Then do the steps 2 onwards
