Some people work hard on trying to get these mods to work online, they put their time and effort into researching. I don't see why those people would have to leak their time and effort out to the public?

Left 4 dead is not cod L4D is L4D when usersettings was relased the game wasnt destroyed and you really think ISO mods will make people hotswap/burn DVDs for L4D?

Well, I agree with most of you guys. If this gets public, people may abuse it, but ISO mods aren't the same thing than savegames mods. Only a few people have flashed xboxs or know how to hotswap, and make a ISO mod is way harder than a save one. The old savegame mod became so popular because it was way easier to mod, simply opening the saves and editing. So, in my opinion, if this get released the impact will be much smaller than the last time. Furthermore, Left 4 dead is an old game, people don't play as they use to..

Anyways, that's just what I think. You guys are the ones that found it so if you don't want to share the decision is all yours. I'm just saying all this crap because I miss the old days, doing barricades with ambulances and spawning CSS weapons And im sure that all this people are getting crazy for a release because they miss the old days too.. 8)

PS: One more thing, Portal 2 is way more played than L4D2 this days, got ISO mods released to public, and still the game continue as badass as always (and the mods were not patched)
