i was banned for nothing at all. like legitly nothing. i modded nothing on my account and they banned me.
anyone have any ideas why?

This usually happens when there are numerous complaints filed against you on xbl. You probably pissed off a bunch of little kids. Then they file complaint on you for anything. After you have alot of complaints filed against you, in a short period of time, Microsoft's system detects all the complaint and bans you. So if you haven't done anything else to get your account banned then this is probably why you got banned.
Also, check your email. Microsoft will send you an email explaining why you got banned.

just call xbox or email saying what happened they will re-open you account
