No one can predict the future. Mayan Stuff is complete BS.
This has a little bit of facts behind it but i really doubt it will happen.

They can predict solar flares, they happen regularly every eight or so years. there is not one predicted for 2012 the next one is predicted in 2016. Also there have been millions of solar flares the chances of it even cutting out wireless connections is like 1 in 1000000. Don't worry the world won't end in 2012.

lol. it isn't proven the planets will align and they won't. that wouldn't have any effect either? the solar flare is actually the end of the 13 year solar maximum which happens around every 13 years... it happened in 2001 (about) and nothing happened.
