i am on xbox but for christmas im getting a ps3 are they really as good as what people say?

MW3 is laggy as shit on it. Everything else is good though.

I dont really now dude i got a ps3 for 4 years and my xbox for 2 years but if really anestly when i was played, my ps3 it wasint even fun.

It is but this depends on many factors.
Look at the sentences and the ones that apply to you read the spoiler
Do you play online a lot ?
If so the ps3 is not the console for you , it has good features but the online experience is a let down. It gets maintainance , downtime and hacked which makes game modding big. The connections arent good and not many have mics.
Do you play offline a lot
You have found the perfect console for you , blu-ray player , internet browser , itv player , bbc... Larger disc spaces so games have less discs and no need for installs.
Do you play online and offline equally ?
You have the best of both , as you dont play much online you wont feel the bad connections and maintainance as much however as you play offline you have the great features , blu-ray , browser , tv channels so you will not get bored of the console.

Post above=Very helpful for those who want a PS3. IMO, the only good thing is the free online. The Dualshock is pretty bad ass as well
