Ok so im a sophmore in highschool. Over the summer, i went to a rec camp that traveled to different places (one time we went to Great Adventure, etc). It just so happened i was in the same group as a girl with downs syndrome. I was nice to her because i can tell base on her looks her life is probably a hell. Then, she tells me she loves me and becomes clingy and is grossing me out. She then tells me that she has all these health and family problems that i would rather not hear -_-. So, this year, she is in my school, and every time im with my friends and i see her, she expects me to stop what im doing and go over and talk to her or she will approach me infront of my friends and its so embarassing. She also tried to kiss me and told me to dump my girlfriend for her! Please help me out guys, i really appreciate it.

Tell her straight its not good to lie nor is it to "pretend to like her" it will hurt her feelings even more if you don't tell the truth because she will expect more from you.

Just tell an adult to make her stay away from you!

seems like you are in a bit of a problem, i would tell her that i need space so could you back off of me so i can hang out with my friends. sorry but i couldn't really think of a way to put it much lighter than that and either saying that to anyone might hurt their feelings. Hope the problem goes away!

Be truthful, tell you like her as a friend that's it.

Or

Seek help from a guidance councillor at your school, they can give better advise and help the situation at school.
