GFX and web design.
I need to get back into GFX as I'm focusing on web design right now.

It feels a little bland, flat and old. Also the use of full and solid black for a background is generally a 'no no' because it gives of a less welcoming impression. Try think up a design that you haven't seen many or any people use before. For example, on my personal site (jordanadams.github.com) I went for a small, compact business card look because I haven't seen many other people use it. Finally, although about sections are great for companies, on small personal websites they aren't all that nessecary. Instead consider just adding a tagline like "Web Designer" or "Web Developer" and then giving links to your social networking profiles if they want to find out more about you
