currently having a problem with my usb ports...i insert usb device and it makes the sound to say its there..but when i come to look for it in my computer,,device manager ect..its not showing..is there anyone willing to provide me an answer for a solution please...............

GO into device manager, And click update drivers

any other ideas on how to sort problem...tried to update and it tells me they are all up to date..........?

i had this problem, check to see if your windows is legit?
the problem you describe can be caused by this, if not, try re-installing the OS that you currently have, putting on an external hard drive
