Haha No not at all, I know many people who didn't. the only way you got banned if you went above 2ed. And no thats not the reason they stopped at all. Don't post false information.

they had to stop because they got caught and were going to get fined or arrested

But, if you didnt mod your leaderboard stats then most likely you wouldn't be banned
