when i try sign into XBL it say cant sign into xbox live and i got test connection and it fails and i go to more info and it says cant obtain ip address and i have tryed all the suggestions and nothing works

Did you reset to factory default? If u did call microsoft they'll tell you what to do.

Turn off your xbox and turn off your modem/router. Wait 15-20 mins then plug both in turn on modem/router only wait another 5-10 minutes then turn on xbox. Should fix your problem if not phone microsoft homie
