Lets try to clear this up one more time. Skrillex makes dubstep songs, just new age dubstep. I agree that he does not make classic dubstep, but it is still dubstep none the less.

Yes in my opinion there are artists out there who are ten times better than skrillex, but thats just my opinion. Everybody has an opinion on who is the best, I don't get why we have to flame on what is dubstep and what isn't.

Yes skrillex's dubstep is nothing at all like classic dubstep, he took it to a different level. Just like todays rap is a a lot different for classic rap, and todays metal is a lot different from classic metal.

Dubstep is an ever changing genre and in my opinion its all good. Classic and new.

Skrillix is dubstep.
Today dubstep is filthy drops.
Get out of the past.
