*I know there is a lot of text, but if even one person has learnt something from this and taken it away, thats my job done.
Note: Too often then not i see people asking how to become better players, i would like to take the time to write this guide and explain a few pointers on how to get better at Mw3, infact any Call of Duty game.
First off to get better at the game, it's not about the headset you have on, the TV you are playing on or even infact the internet connection you have, of course ALL of these help but they arent essential in improving your game.
Tip #1
Flanking
Too often then not, i see noobs who run out into the open trying to spray the first person they see. Sure it might get you quick kills and you end up going 17-19, but essentially its not going to help you improve your game.
Running around the edges/sides of a map is a much more viable option, flushing out camping hotspots, holding down houses etc...
Sure this way might not get you top score all the times, but with the right killstreaks you will see you will end up getting them ALOT more and find your self improving as a player. Take time around corners, rush the enemy spawn and come from behind.
Finding the right Killstreaks
Simple yet effective.
If you're not an experienced player, putting on pred-reaper-ac130 will get you nowhere. Out of 100 games you might get these 5 times. You would be more suitable putting on killstreaks such as UAV-Pred-Attack helicopter.
Or a more viable option would be support, these dont reset after death and as a non-experienced player you may find this the best option and at the same time helping your team win and finding yourself improving.
Not camping, difference from holding down/Camping
We have all had killcams where the guy is aiming down his sight waiting for someone to run past. You may rage, but in actual fact he's the one thats losing. Going 7-1 in a full game of TDM will get him nowhere and infact helps him with nothing.
Holding down a building/certain area on the map is a better option. This could include running back and forth from each building enterance and gunning down anyone that come by. But remember, MOST LIKELY THEY WILL ALWAYS COME BACK FOR YOU.
This is where flanking comes in handy, moving from building to building and if your experienced enough, anticipating where they will go and cutting them off.
These are just a few tips that i have learnt in times over playing COD and some simple ways to improve, as i have done myself.
Mw2 KD - 0.8
COD:BO KD- 2:41
MW3 - 3.84
