Funny part im not using a HDD, i was using USB.
Second im guessing it is a bad kv.
First it was xmas lights.
Then 4 RROD
Right now i have 3 RROD

So how did it go from christmas lights to 3RROD? Whats the secondary error code? What did you do to it after that? You saved a copy of the nand, right? If so, you should be ok. Still need the nand flashing hardware/software/know how but should be fine.

X-mas had about a week ago but i fixed it myself. Week later i got 4 RROD with no video. 1 Hrs later i got 3 RROD. No error code as in no video i can see. After that i just left it lol. Yes of course i got about 10 copies of my nand lol.

4rrod is usually a cable issue. Search on google on how to check your secondary error code for 3rrod.

So let me get this 100% straight.. You got christmas lights and fixed it and it booted then you got the 4rrod and 3rrod? If it worked before you got the 3rrod and you didn't try updating the dash or messing with the nand etc. It may just be regular old red ring. Need the secondary error code and more details though..
