ok let me start off by saying im a massive fan of the call of duty franchise ive been a dedicated player since the cod 4 days however ive seen cod gradually get worse and each game seems to move further and further away from the multiplayer experience and seems to be more focused on the franchising and community aspects, everyone knows the saying "the old 'uns are the best 'uns" but should this be the case with such a huge franchise as call of duty? after the dissapointment of black ops i was truly excited about the release of another infinity ward game however im less than thrilled with the result and here's why...
1: The M16 is terrible.
2: dedicated servers have ruined the connections (in Britain at-least)
3: being shot around corners and in cover (makes no sense its cod not **** wanted?!)
4: no combat record and theater mode is not as simplistic as b-ops.
5: shooting at someone first and actually getting damage markers but they shoot you back whilst sponging with the same weapon end result 'you die?'
6: the perks; no marathon or lightweight which therefore cancels out rushing which was what made MW2 possibly the greatest cod of the 5
7: search and destroy is no longer enjoyable taking out rushing has made it slow, boring and predictable, S&D was made for the elite or the elite cod players now it caters only to the camper.

however i did enjoy the campaign and i do enjoy the game as a whole but it stuns me how you can make a game worse than the previous when you have a platform to build as good as CoD 4 and MW2, in all i'd say it is a poor mans black ops at best, im not saying this because im bad or a "noob" i have a 5.89 win to loss ratio and a 2.67 K.D im saying this because its beyond belief that activision dont make the effort when the consumer has given them every bit of feedback on the pros and cons about cod as possible, maybe they got the pros and cons mixed up, who knows? all i can say is bring on the next cod!
