It might be the phone its self. I think the Wifi module might be fried. Take it to your local Tech shop and have them look at it. Or call apple.

What firmware is it running?
EDIT: I done some research and people said it was really only happening on Frimware 3.2.1.
Also they said do a soft reset hold home button and power button at same time.It work for most people.

take it to your nearest apple store and have a proffesional (appelist??) to look at it
