I think you can just sign up on Elite and then link your Xbox/Playstation account.

Has to be the same email and password as the account you are using on xbox live..

that didnt work for me trying that for my brothers account...you can make an elite account with any email and password but when you go to link it, if it doesnt have an xbox account or psn it will say no gamertags were found and linked...

but then when i made one with his GT email and password and linked it, it worked perfectly and he got his 2xp..

Its All Good i Just signed up on Xbox not on the computer with a different email and it automatically linked my gamertag
