Elite Mw3 Multiplayer help!?

So ever since ive had Elite my multi-player data has not show up. I get this message:
No MW3 Multiplayer Data
Before you can begin your Call of Duty: Elite experience, you must first complete a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer match.
I have obviously played a game of mw3 but why has it not shown up. This is getting annoying tbh. I have tried clearing my cache and making a new account but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
