I will be answering EVERY question posted here and adding it and the answer to the thread for future use.
I'll start with the most common questions:
The Golden Claw Quest:
Q: Who is the owner?

A: In Riverwood there is a building across from Alvor's forge called Riverwood Trader. Enter it when it is open and speak to the man behind the counter. He is an Imperial with short black hair and a black mustache.

Q: I don't know the combination and do not have the guide, how do I do this?

A: Look up and around the room, and there are statues with the pictures of which piece you need the stone turned to. Turn the statue to the symbol closest to it.


Q: Yeah I have a question, how do you find the combo for the door you put the claw into? I don't know where to look

A: The combination is on the claw. You must go into your inventory and go to MISC. Click the LS if the console version (PS3 or XBOX)

Q: Shadowmere died and won't respawn, why is this? (a horse rewarded from DB quests)

A: The only way this can happen is if he had died from falling down a mountain, riding down, dragon toss, etc. A fix is expected soon.


Q: Where can you find a weapon with Absorb Health or Stamina Enchantment?

A: The stamina one is hard to come by, but the absorb health can be found on mages or necromancers. Mainly their robes for magic but their weapons are enchanted with that every now and then.


Q: Where can I find enchanted items to up my smithing/enchanting/etc?

A: Those drops are random, but they are usually found on gauntlets. I recently found Ebony Gauntlets with +17% smithing up. Mainly found in dungeons, or in a rare instance, a shop owner.


Q: I just gave the Lexicon to Septimus, but nothing is happening. It shows that all the objectives are done the last one being to give the lexicon to Septimus. But the Quest is not. Someone please help me? I have no idea what im supposed to do.

A: Did you transcribe the Lexicon? if so the huge dwarven machine in the iceberg should open. Inside is a book and Septimus will die you take it and that might be the problem. Please be more specific next time.


Q: Will there be a dlc and if so what can we expect?

A: Yes, it is quite obvious. If Bethesda made a game with no dlc it wouldn't be Bethesda. We can expect either a different province or a place you may think from the main quest. There are rumors, thoughts, and fears, as well as certain uprisings cults that may receive a DLC to further knowledge on them.


Q: What is the fastest way to beat the side missions to become thieves guild master.

A: There is no fastest way, you must do the quests given to you. But do this with a stealthy character. Also be cautious of your environment in fear of traps or being detected.


Q: When the main quest line is finished does game continue?

A: Yes, just like in every Bethesda game. Fallout New Vegas was not BGS it was Obsidian ENT. Fallout 3 needed a DLC to continue and BGS stated they learned from that and they will not do that again.

Q: Yeah I have a question, can you make a potion of ultimate healing and if you can how do you make it?

A: Just like any other alchemical potion. Use ingredients to find the effects by eating or using at an Alchemy Lab. Your chances may improve with certain perks from the Alchemy skill tab.
