This program is a simple, and easy to use method of downgrading your version Minecraft. At the moment this program has the ability to downgrade Minecraft to versions Beta 1.4, too Beta 1.9 Pre-Release.

*Note: This thread was created due to the fact that the existing "Sticky" contains an outdated program that is not efficient in my opinion.

Directions

1. Open up the program.

2. Choose the version you would like your Minecraft to be downgraded to.

3. Click "Patch".

4. Wait a few seconds for your Minecraft to be patched.

5. Open up Minecraft normally, (Do not update if something pops up for you).

6. Enjoy!

As of right now there is no version for Mac or Linux users.

Within the near future there will be both those versions implemented.
