Hey TTG,
I wanted to clean the inside of my Gateway DX4840 Desktop PC to look at possibly upgrading and cleaning. The case is rather hard to open though. Can anybody please help ?

BEWARE: Once you open your case your warrenty is GONE
What the hell are you talking about? You're so clueless. You're saying opening the side panel of a case discloses the warranty? Ahah. What if the user wanted to add a HDD? Think before you post. I doubt there are thumb screws so get a screwdriver and put a bit of force and slide it off.

Yeah the slide the I wanted off I removed the screws and it still would not come off so I was a bit confused as of how to do it since it looks like it just slides... I went back to it awhile later and pushed hard and was able to get it off. Thanks guys.

Punch it :trollin:.
Just pull a little bit from the sides, it will come off.
