I was thinking about it, And in the long run it'll save me money.

When I get a job (in 2 to 3 weeks) I do not want to look forward to coming home and my membership has ran out, And then having to use my job money to pay for LIVE.

I will not be using a credit card on PS3 since I know the security isn't the best.

Are there any type of chat or voice features on PS3?

Give me good reasons since there are many good deals this week and I can buy a 160 GB PS3 with two games.

Well if you think about it 12 month membership on ebay is only 35 euro. I know it's a bit for a whole year it's good value. There's no party chat on PS3 (that I'm aware of) so that's a bit of a bummer...I don't see much point changing over unless all your mates have a PS3

no xbox is way better ps3 plus our update is going to look sexy and we get stuff before them

You'll regret it, The chat on PS3 is terrible, cuts out the end of your sentences and you have to be in the same game as someone to talk to them. Just get 12 months of Live and you wont have anything to complain about ;)

I have both... PS3!!! To be honest both the consoles are as good as each other.

Pro's For PS3:
Blu-Ray, Free Internet, Doesn't brake as easily, Better Graphics (in my opinion) etc.

Pro's for XBOX:
Party Chat, Secure Internet

Overall, PS3 is better. It has better exclusive games like Uncharted and LittleBIG Planet. Hope this helps...
