well i have started the theives guild and when i want to start the 3rd mission i have to talk to brynjolf but it doesnt let me

It could mean he is busy! It could also be a loaded up glitch! I had the same problem! Make sure that you are for sure supposed to talk to him, try restarting xbox, or actually try to reload from a different save!

Try to load your save again, then go and talk to him.
