I've got a problem and I cannot figure out what to do, I was hoping maybe you had an idea. I have a customer's 16mb Jasper that I'm doing the RGH to. It's stuck on the 12xxx dashboard, and it will not update. I tried updating it using both USB and CD, and I also flashed his key to a BenQ drive, and that still didn't work. The progress meter just gets to 90% and then stops every time, and then usually yields an error message if I wait long enough. I tried to just go ahead and do the RGH anyway, because I recently did an RGH to a console that was on the 9199 dash, and that worked, but all I get with this is christmas tree lights. I then went ahead and tried to use GGbuild to flash the stock 13604 dash to the board without the glitcher, and it still gives me the christmas tree lights! I flashed the 12xxx image back now, and it works fine on that dash, games play fine and everything. The drive is a samsung ms28, spoofed as a lite-on. PLEASE tell me you have an idea of what's going on here? Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It won't update because the drive is spoofed. Use a liteon.

You usually get christmas lights because you typed the wrong cpu key in whatever software you're using. Double check the cpu key by using 360 flash tool. goto settings then type in the cpu key. Next open the nand and the kv info should show up. Sorry if you knew this already.
