Before Any Americans want to be ignorant in the section bellow please, do not tell me what american fotball is. I'm not american i.e. i know about other cultures and countries.
So please refrain from talking about gridiron

Its called football not soccer, why do people call it soccer? Every country in the world except America and Australia call it in public soccer FFS.
I mean officially its (International Federation of Association Football)(FIFA)
Australia is Football Federation Australia.(FFA)
why do people call it soccer?
Mathazad wrote yea but it has nothing to do with american football, they just want to be difficult as always.
why does american football come first? anyway the real fotball is the number one sport in the world, played by every country in the world officialy.

What I don't get is why American's call it American football when they use their hands and run. They should switch the football around with soccer, it would make more sense!

It's America, a different country, I'm sure they can call it what they want.

People call cobs "baps" in some areas, when they're blatantly cobs - as in round bread.

This is such a stupid comment, the proper correct english language ?

There's no right and wrong language, they're are in another country so they might have a different vocabulary to UK. Take Brazil and Portugal for instance, both speak Portuguese but brazil have different words.

You are correct, but one thing I have to correct you on is the spelling of Brasil. Another good example of the English language's sillyness.
