How many threads are you going to start on this issue? If you tried another power brick, get ahold of the seller and send that POS back. Either get a refund or have them send another. Hopefully you didn't send the money as a gift.

WTF is with all the useless replies.

First off, is the brick red, before you plug it into the console?

If it only turns red when you plug it into the back of the console, then something is causing it to short.

You could try opening the case, and making sure nothing is bridged, or, make sure the 2 pins on the power input are touching the chassis.

If however the seller has put a warranty sticker on, then you will need to send it back, or you will void it.

Wires have maybe come loose inside the actually brick, or the metal pins are not touching to power the console.

Get a new power brick, or get the seller to send you a new one.

sounds like the jtag wiring is shorting inside or something else the reason y it wont turn on and the brick is going red is becuz its detecting that theres a short with the xbox power bricks have failsafes built in them to prevent damage to the xbox if you dont have a warranty sticker open it up and check wiring if it does send it back oh and is it an actual jtag or reset glitch xbox if its a reset glitch its more than likely that one of the pads have come of the bored and which will render the xbox unusable unless u can get a proffesional to fix best option contact seller
